There are eroticism for womenplenty of WTF moments in The Fall of the House of Usher, but there were just as many sneaky clues in there, too.
Not only did each episode open with a moment that foreshadowed each characters' fate, but it turns out — in hindsight — the hints stretched even further back. In fact it was all laid out when Netflix first shared the character posters.

Camille L'Espanaye's (Kate Siegel's) poster has a huge claw mark across it and a bloody print, foreshadowing her death-by-chimp in episode 3. Roderick Usher's (Bruce Greenwood's) is more ambiguous, but the shadow of the raven clearly represents the deal he made with Verna (Carla Gugino) hanging over him.

The tail of the black cat that drives him to his death is clearly visible in the poster of Leo Usher (Rahul Kohli), while the bars of light in the poser for Arthur Pym (Mark Hamill) foreshadow him eventually being sent to prison.

Madeline Usher's (Mary McDonnell's) eyes are gouged out in her poster, which hints at her being blinded by her own brother in the show's finale. Victorine (T'Nia Miller), meanwhile, probably has the most obvious clue of the whole bunch: a knife sticking out of her chest, which is exactly how she dies in episode 5.

As one of the only surviving characters, Auguste Dupin (Carl Lumbly) has the only poster that doesn't appear to be tampered with. In stark contrast is Frederick's (Henry Thomas') poster, which has been severed in half — just like he is by the pendulum in episode 7.

Finally, in a nod to his horrifying death by acid in episode 2, Perry (Sauriyan Sapkota) has a poster that appears to be melting and corroded. His sister Tamerlane (Samantha Sloyan) has a poster that's cracked, pointing towards the broken mirror that ultimately impales her.
Beyond the posters, however, creator Mike Flanagan hid clues in the episodes themselves.
