Tired of staring at WhatsApp976 Archivesyour phone screen? There's a fix for that.
One of the most popular messaging apps in the world, WhatsApp is great for keeping in touch with friends and family. But phone screens are small, while desktop and tablet screens are big. Therein lies the dilemma. Thankfully, you can now link multiple devices to the same WhatsApp account. Even better, your phone doesn't have to be connected to the internet anymore to use WhatsApp on a laptop or tablet.
Here's how it works.
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on the device you'd like to link, either using the browser site or the desktop app. You should see a few simple directions and, more importantly, a big QR code.
Step 2: Now open WhatsApp on your iOS or Android smartphone. Navigate to the app's settings menu and tap "Linked Devices."
Step 3: From there, tap "Link a Device."
Step 4: Aim your phone's camera at the QR code on the other device's screen.
And voila! You've enabled WhatsApp use on your computer or tablet. You can still use it on your phone, of course, but now you can log in on that other device whenever you want. Simply navigate back to that "Linked Devices" menu if you want to track devices you've linked to your account, as well.
Isn't that big screen way better?
