Gay, author of several titles both published and forthcoming, pulled How to be Heardfrom publisher Simon & Schuster after the company signed a $250,000 deal for Yiannopoulos's title. Gay said she is not returning to Simon & Schuster despite the reversal of the publishing house's decision.

Gay's book was slated for publication in early 2018. In the meantime, you can buy her already published works, such as An Untamed Stateand Bad Feminist.
