To help, we've compiled the best movies you can watch during your flights in May on three of the biggest airlines in the United States: American Airlines, Delta, and United.

Black Panther (Delta, United)

Starring Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa, a.k.a. the superhero Black Panther, The Marvel movie Black Panthertells the story of Wakanda and its people as they fight to keep their independence from the outside world and Killmonger.

Lady Bird (Delta, United)

Lady Birdis a coming of age story about a high school senior who named herself Lady Bird (Saoirse Ronan). It's a slice of life in Sacramento, California in 2002, and the only thing Lady Bird wants to go is get away and go to an Ivy League school.

I, Tonya (Delta, United)

Infamous figure skater Tonya Harding is the subject of I, Tonya, a semi-biographical and nearly unbelievable movie that pulls on interviews from several of the people involved in Harding's life and the scandal involving the attack on fellow figure skater Nancy Kerrigan.

The Post (Delta, United)

The Postis a look back at the moment in time when The Washington Postwas going public as a company while simultaneously dealing with the Pentagon Papers — government files that were leaked by the press detailing how the U.S. government lied to the public about the Vietnam War. It stars Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks.

The Shape of Water(American Airlines personal device*)

Oscar-winner The Shape of Wateris a story about a mute woman, Elisa (Sally Hawkins), who works in a government facility and slowly but surely falls in love with a sea creature. After learning about what the government wants to do with her beloved creature, she decides to help it escape.

Big(American Airlines)

The comedy Big stars Tom Hanks as Josh Baskin, a kid who made a wish to become "big" and then has to try to fit in with the adult world while still having the mind of a young boy.

Shrek(American Airlines)

Shrekis perhaps the pinnacle of comedy. It's the animated story of an ogre named Shrek, a donkey named Donkey, and their journey to rescue a princess and get all of the fairy tale characters living in Shrek's swamp out of his swamp.

Inside Out (Delta)

Inside Outturns all of the emotions in people's heads into little animated beings with their own personalities. This Pixar movie specifically focuses on the mind a the young girl named Riley and her emotions as she and her family move from the Midwest to California.

A League of Their Own (United)

One of the best baseball movies ever made, A League of Their Ownis a comedy that's a sort-of-true-but-mostly-fictional story of the old All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, the Rockford Peaches team, and their fight to win the World Series.

Norma Rae (United)

Norma Rae is based on a true story about a worker in a Southern textile factory who becomes involved in the factory's movement to unionize. The movie stars Sally Field as Norma Rae, who helps the factory workers fight back against management and establish a union for fair wages.

The Big Lebowski (United)

If you have a long flight, you may want to watch The Big Lebowskitwice. Starring Jeff Bridges as The Dude, The Big Lebowskiis an odd story about three bowlers, a potentially kidnapped wife of a billionaire, and a handful of weird tertiary characters that gets better and better with every viewing.
