On Thursday, Lego revealed its latest collector's item: an ode to everyone's favorite '90s sitcom, Friends. A fastidious recreation of the show's Central Perk coffee shop set, the new toy comes as part of Lego Ideas, a fan-fueled think tank that allows Lego customers to submit ideas for future products.
Complete with studio cameras, lighting fixtures, and minifigures of the entire cast, Lego Central Perk nails a lot of details from the show.
You've got those double doors, perfect for dramatic entrances and exits. There's the iconic stage, from which you can sing of your smelly cat. They've even got a "Reserved" sign, so you too can miraculously secure the same highly appealing couch in the middle of a busy Manhattan café for you and your Lego gang to hog each and every week.
Each character sports a strong resemblance to their real-life counterpart and comes with props specific to various Friends storylines. Rachel comes with a coffee mug on a tray, Phoebe has her guitar, and Monica appears to have snagged the last banana nut muffin.
Meanwhile, Chandler's got his laptop, Joey has his "man bag" and a pizza box, and Ross has his keyboard to play some super great songs with. (Maybe. Ask Phoebe.)
The set also offers up a Gunther minifigure with a broom, to annoy/delight you.
Plus, there's a full-service counter area with a buildable coffee machine, various barista supplies, baked goods, newspapers, movable furniture, and other accessories to help you recreate your favorite episodes — or seasons.
In honor of the 25th anniversary of the premiere of Friends, Lego Central Perk will become available in stores and online Sept. 1 for $59.99.*Clap clap clap clap.*
