It's a new year and Naked Reunion (1993)you know what that means: New phones!

Though not expected for another few months, rumors for Samsung's next flagship phone, the Galaxy S8, have started to leak out, little by little, day by day -- to the point where we sort of have a rough idea of what to expect.

On this week's MashTalk, MashableTech Editor Pete Pachal, Chief Correspondent Lance Ulanoff and I break down the rumors we've been hearing about the S8.

With so many rumors, it's hard to separate the real from the fake. From what we've heard so far, the S8 might come in two models, both with larger curved screens than the S7 and S7 Edge.

Speed and camera improvements are a given. The home button and touch-sensitive "buttons" will reportedly disappear with the fingerprint sensor getting integrated with the screen.

And we're hearing the headphone jack will stick around after all. Which should make Android users very happy and iPhone 7 users weep.

We also chatted about Apple getting into original TV programming. Rumor has it the company is at least exploring the idea.

With so many rumors, it's hard to separate the real from the fake.

Would Apple really try to play in Netflix and Amazon's playground? And if it does, will it even be able to compete?

Lance thinks it makes perfect sense, given the company's growth in services. Pete, however, disagrees and thinks it would be a mistake for Apple to get into a crowded market. Me? I've already got Netflix and Amazon Video; I'm not looking to pay for yet another TV service. In fact, I should probably stop watching so much TV and cancel one of them.

For our last topic, we invited special guest, Mashable Senior Games Reporter Adam Rosenberg, to tell us all about the Nintendo Switch. Yeah, we already talked about the Switch on a previous MashTalk, but Adam has actually played with the damn thing.

Can Nintendo's weird, hybrid console/portable restore the company to greatness after the incredible Wii U flop? You'll have to listen to this week's podcast to find out.
