After winning gold and Adultery Alumni Association (2018)making millions of people wonder if they're in love, Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir have skated on Olympic ice for what is perhaps the last time.
The ice dancing pair has not officially decided if they're retiring from competition, but there's a good chance they are -- which made their performance at Sunday's figure skating gala particularly special.

And to make their number as Canadian as possible, the duo skated to "Long Time Running" by The Tragically Hip -- a move that warmed the hearts and agitated the tear ducts of many Canadian viewers. (The beloved band's lead singer, Gord Downie, passed away last fall.)

Of course, this won't be the lasttime they skate together. Per Canada's National Post, the two will soon tour Japan and Canada, where they'll do their gold medal thing without the pressure of being scored. But the gala performance was definitely an Olympic swan song, and there's no better way to elicit intense viewer emotion at 11 p.m. (U.S. time) on a Saturday night.
