Spotify collects data on Watch In the Cut (2003)everything you do on its platform, from which songs you stream the most to how your listening habits compare to other people your age.
Now, with it's latest end-of-year feature, you can find out just what Spotify learned about you in 2017.
Spotify on Tuesday released Wrapped, its breakdown of your music consumption in the past year. Click here to check it out.
SEE ALSO: Spotify is quietly testing a new feature to make your Discover Weekly playlist even smarterOnce connected, the website takes you on a trip through your year, including just how many minutes of music you've listened to as well has how many songs, artists, and genres.
To give you an idea of what it looks like, here's mine:
The website then quizzes you to see if you know your own musical tastes. It asks for your top artists, top song, and top genre. I only got one of three right.
Once completed, you get a fresh playlist of your top 100 songs, as well as an analysis of your listening compared to your age and how much you skip songs compared to other people.
There's also a "ones that got away" playlist for songs Spotify thinks you should listen to based on your taste.
Spotify then encourages you to share your overall "wrap." We don't blame you if you skip that step.
