Jon Snow might be emmanuelle a game of eroticismback in action on Game of Thrones, but the man who plays him appears to be keeping busy with some other game. Maybe Call of Duty?
Mashable obtained this video featuring Thronesactor Kit Harington -- sans beard -- being wheeled into an elaborate motion capture rig. Plenty of movies and TV shows use mocap these days, but this particular setup looks very familiar.
SEE ALSO: Jon Snow is making man perms a thingImages of a similar mocap rig surfaced in 2015 when ex-NFL superstar Marshawn Lynch was featured in an ESPN the Magazine cover story. The angle? His role in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
Now Lynch's participation in the game turned out to be very minor; he was a background player in one scene with zero lines. It was possible to miss him if you didn't look for him.
We weren't able to confirm what this video connects to -- and Activision has no comment -- but look at this image and compare it to the video above. The resemblance between the two mocap rigs is hard to deny.
Does that mean Harington is definitely appearing in a Call of Duty game, or any game at all? No. But it's certainly a noteworthy coincidence that this very large, elaborate contraption is surfacing again.
With E3 just days away, you can probably expect to hear more about whatever Harington's involved with very soon.
