This version includes a wide variety of additional characters, gameplay improvements over the original Mario Kart 8, and additional accessibility features. Its updated Battle Mode also includes special courses that you can test your racing might against, if you'd prefer to try something a little different. There's gobs and gobs of entertainment to be had here, and for $39.99, you definitely can't beat it. Just be aware that you might come out a different person when you go in expecting casual races with friends...don't say we didn't warn you.
