October is Two Couples Affair in Broad Daylighta month almost exclusively reserved for festive fall activities.
It's the time of year to plan Halloween costumes, go apple picking, and take scenic road trips. It's a time to venture through corn mazes, bake seasonal pies, and buy pumpkins. And if you're really ambitions, you might even carvethose pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns.
I have always dreamed of carving the face of someone named "Jack" into a jack-o'-lantern, because that'd obviously be hilarious. Sadly, I am not skilled with knives or the handling of pumpkin guts, so I enlisted the help of the Mashable art team to make the next best thing: a series of Photoshopped jack-o'-lanterns. (Emphasis on the Jack.)
Please enjoy these 10 jack-o'-lanterns inspired by both fictional characters and real celebrities named Jack. I know I will.
First up, a pumpkin digitally carved to bear a likeness to one of my favorite men in Hollywood. This pumpkin has John Krasinski's head Photoshopped onto it because it's a jack-o'-lantern inspired by Amazon's Jack Ryan. Love that!
Here we have a jack-o'-lantern inspired by one of TV's greatest dads, Jack Pearson. (RIP) The beloved This Is Uscharacter is played by Milo Ventimiglia, but as any true fan of the show knows, fire is a sore subject among the Pearson family. If you ever decide to carve a Jack Pearson-inspired pumpkin pleasebe respectful and put an LED light inside instead of lighting a real flame. Thank you.

You may know Jack Black as the cool teacher from School of Rock, or the guy who played the character that almost ruined The Holiday for me. He's starred in dozens of other films over the years, too. And now? He's on this pumpkin.
I've never seenTitanicbut have heard good things about it, and, of course, know how the film ends. Young Leo as Jack Dawson may not have gotten any space on that damn door, but rest assured he isgetting a jack-o'-lantern.
Those who assumed these jack-o'-lanterns would only represent men must have forgotten about former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The Jackie O'-lantern is a perfect jack-o'-lantern for all the elegant, stylish, and iconic Halloween fans out there.
Lostended in 2010, but thanks to his name the island's resident doctor and problem solver, Jack Shephard, has been allowed to live on in Photoshop jack-o'-lantern form.
SEE ALSO: 13 political Halloween costumes that are crucially not Donald TrumpThere's a good chance that Jack-o'-lantern McBrayer is the purest pumpkin around this Halloween. Who doesn't love Jack McBrayer? His role as 30 Rock's most dedicated NBC page, Kenneth Parcell, has gone down in history, which makes him beyond worthy of a carved fruit in his honor.
Much like the actor who's starred in everything from The Shining to Something's Gotta Give, the Jack-o'-lantern Nicholson is a classic. It's a pumpkin for cool sunglass wearers with attitude.
Remember the 1996 movie, Jack, about the boy whose body ages faster than his mind? Robin Williams played Jack, and perfected acting like a kid in a grown man's body so well that we haddo dedicate a jack-o'-lantern to him.
Happy Halloween to all, but especially people named Jack.
