Earlier this week, writer Shamus Clancy tweeted a famous black-and-white photograph from the end of WWII.

That picture (which it's worth noting has a controversial backstory) was taken by Alfred Eisentaedton VJ Day in 1945.

Clancy's tweet attracted a bunch of retweets and replies -- but there was one in particular, from Ashley Suder, that stood out.

The best part? They actually followed through with it.

Clancy shared the whole story on Thursday night, following Thursday's Eagles parade.

It turned out Suder had indeed sent him a DM after their initial exchange.

"I'm being dead ass," she wrote. "That picture would be bomb."

Judging by the close to 8000 RTs Clancy's tweet has since received, other people clearly felt the same way.
