"Ebony is a really big fan of Beyoncé and she has so much love for her that we really want to get Ebony to meet her," senior Cristal Depaz told ABC News 13.

Their hard work paid off when Queen Bey called Banks in the hospital.

Alief Hastings High School's official Twitter account tweeted out a thank you for everyone who it possible for Banks to meet her idol.
