Apple assembled a veritable laundry list of celebrities to push a new line of wireless headphones from its Beats by Dre brand.
SEE ALSO: Twitter says James Corden's ad for Apple falls shortThe World Of Single Jayecompany's latest ad features stars from across the worlds of sports, music and movies lip-synching and dancing along to a remixed rendition of the surprisingly catchy "No Strings" from Disney's original Pinocchio film. Everyone from DJ Khaled and Nicki Minaj to Michael Phelps (cradling his infant son) and Steve Buscemi make an appearance.
A full list of cameos can be found in the video description.
The ad showcases three news sets of wireless headphones from Beats: the Beatsx, Beats Solo3 Wireless and Powerbeats3 Wireless. It comes not long after Apple announced it was phasing out the 3.5mm headphone jack in its latest iPhone model.
The tune makes for an inspired choice of soundtrack since its lyrics double as a self-empowerment anthem and a literal description of the product.
Ironically, one could also argue that buying cordless headphones at the behest of the world's biggest corporation is not exactly the best example of casting away society's puppet strings. Could Apple be referring to its own "courage" in snubbing consumer demand?
Amber Rose's tumble here also raises questions about the company's strange preoccupation with knocking over famous women in its ads.
Apple has relied on A-listers to power many of its recent ad campaigns -- particularly those for its Apple Music streaming service -- and a few of its stars are making repeat appearances here, including DJ Khaled and Nicki Minaj.
