There's nothing like a hug to comfort you after your team loses a World Cup match.
On Wednesday,Sister after England lost the World Cup semi-final game to Croatia, fans, players, and team manager Gareth Southgate were completely heartbroken.
While we didn't see Southgate plop down on the field to mourn the loss like some of his players did, photographers did capture an extremely touching post-game moment he shared with his wife Alison in the stands.
The two were seen reuniting after the game, kissing and embracing among empty seats, later joined by family members. The photographs of the emotional moment are just so damn pure -- like something straight out of Friday Night Lights.
I mean, this is some Tami/Coach Taylor level support right here, so it's no surprise that people were SHOOK. Fans were quick to offer support for Southgate and share their respect for his classy handling of the loss.

England will play Belgium in the third-place match on Saturday, so there's still a chance that Southgate and the team won't walk away totally empty-handed.
