【Mr & Mrs Jones (2010)】

Reddit's alt-right community will all have Mr & Mrs Jones (2010)to migrate to another corner of the internet.

The alt-right subchannel, r/altright, was banned late Wednesday for violating the social media site's policy on doxing -- revealing identifying details about someone on the internet, such as someone's address.

"This subreddit was banned due to a violation of our content policy, specifically, the proliferation of personal and confidential information," reads the lone message on the subreddit's page.

The r/alternativeright subreddit was also banned for "violating the Reddit rules," according to its now defunct page.

The alt-right is a catch-all term for meme-savvy Trump supporters, white nationalists, neo-Nazis and others. Together, they've formed something of a largely online movement that gained prominence in tandem with the rise of President Donald Trump. Members of the alt-right and others looking to define themselves as the "new right" even celebrated Trump's inauguration with a ball in Washington, D.C.

Their online communities won't have to look far to continue talking, though. Over on r/The_Donald, known as a popular spot for white nationalists and other alt-righters, Redditors are already talking about whether that thread will be banned, too. If it is, those used to talking on Reddit may find themselves migrating to other online forums such as Voat, 4chan or 8chan.

On a Voat thread dedicated to the Reddit bans, users are already trying to figure out where to migrate. One user asked whether anyone had a plan to "fight back."

"Reddit is dead, long live Voat," came the response from another user. "That is the only backup plan we can really have before we all start heading for the Chans."
