Burt Reynolds,Lena Paul - The Next Morning the ever-mustached actor with roles in a a handful of classics like Boogie Nights, The Longest Yard, Smokey and the Bandit, and Deliverance, has died.
Reynolds, 82, died Thursday morning surrounded by his family, Us Weeklyreported.
A versatile yet consistently handsome actor, Reynolds earned an Oscar nomination for his supporting role in 1997's Boogie Nightsplaying porn mogul Jack Horner and won two Golden Globes in his career.
While his more dramatic role in Boogie Nightsearned Reynolds the most critical acclaim, he cut his chops and built his career in more light-hearted movies like Smokey and the Bandit, Cannonball Run,and Starting Over, and even had a role as a sperm in Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex But Were Afraid to Ask.
Reynolds became a sex icon in the '70s and '80s, exuding a rugged, irresistible kind of manliness with his stark mustache and charming swagger.
