Back in 1999,Big Thing Chief: The Stolen Wife Jessica Biel couldn't have known that when she finally got to love somebody, guess what, it was gonna be *NSYNC's Justin Timberlake.
When asked during Tuesday's episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon if she had been a fan of her now-husband's group, Biel admitted that she preferred listening to "old school stuff" at the time.
"I like, lived under a rock. I wasn't into pop culture music." The actor opted for show tunes and Motown over one of the hottest boy bands of the '90s, a fact she seems sheepish about now.
So of course Fallon dug up an old interview in which Biel said she just wasn't that into *NSYNC.
"I don't think I own any of their CDs. I'm not a huge fan," said past-Biel, present-Biel watching in embarrassment as she threw shade at her future spouse. "But, I mean, cool I guess."
Considering Biel ended up marrying *NSYNC's Timberlake, you'd think she'd probably be more familiar with the group's songs now. Turns out, not so much.
"I only know three words — 'bye bye bye'," admitted Biel. "Which is I guess one word three times."
