Colorado enters the matchup 4-2 overall and 1-2 in the Pac-12 Conference. Most recently, the CU Buffs beat Arizona State 27-24. Stanford comes into the contest 1-4 overall and 0-3 in the Pac-12. On Sept. 30, Oregon defeated Stanford 42-6. Entering Friday, Colorado leads the all-time series 35-32 against Stanford.
Deion Sanders is the Colorado football head coach. Troy Taylor is the Stanford football head coach.
Friday night’s game between Colorado and Stanford is scheduled to be broadcast on TV by ESPN at 10 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 13. But if you don’t have cable or satellite TV, there are some options to watch the game via online livestreams. Those options include YouTube TV, FuboTV, and Sling.
Abandoning traditional cable or satellite TV can save money, but to be able to watch college football, you’ll need to choose a streaming service. To check out the Colorado vs. Stanford football game on Friday night, here are your best streaming options.
YouTube TV offers more than 100 live channels, six household accounts, three simultaneous streams, and unlimited DVR space. One of those 100 live channels is ESPN, so you’ll be able to watch the Colorado vs. Stanford game with YouTube TV.
Additional YouTube TV channels include ABC, ACC Network, Big Ten Network, CBS, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, Fox, FS1, FS2, NBC, NBCSN, NFL Network, SEC Network, and The CW.
YouTube TV offers 20 minutes of viewing with no commitment. The service also currently offers a three-week free trial. After concluding the free trial, there is a three-month introductory rate of $52.99/month, and after the introductory period, the service costs $72.99/month.
The downside of FuboTV is that the service is more expensive with a less appealing introductory offer than YouTube TV. FuboTV has only a seven-day free trial period. The upside is that it offers more than 250 channels of live TV and the option to watch on 10 screens at once.
College football fans can get most of the channels they need through FuboTV at $74.99/month, and ESPN is included in that pro tier for aspiring Colorado vs. Stanford football viewers.
FuboTV’s sports channel offerings include ABC, ACC Network, Big Ten Network, CBS, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, Fox, FS1, FS2, Golf Network, Marquee Sports Network, Monumental Sports, NBC, NBCSN, NFL Network, Pac-12 Network, SEC Network, and The CW.
The cost is lower for Sling TV, but it also comes with fewer channels. For $55/month, you get 46 channels from Sling TV (there is a $27.50 rate for the first month). Those 46 channels include most of the staples that college football fans need – including ESPN to watch the Colorado vs. Stanford game.
If you’re only getting Sling TV for the Colorado vs. Stanford game, you could even get just its basic Orange Plan that includes ESPN. That comes at $20 for the first month and $40 for subsequent months.
Sling TV’s sports channel offerings include ABC, ACC Network, Big Ten Network, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPNews, ESPNU, Fox, FS1, FS2, NBC, NFL Network, and SEC Network.
