Although it was first published over 40 years ago, watch Lady Chatterley's Daughter (2011) The Standremains one of Stephen King's most iconic novels.
It's also one of the longest single-part novels he's ever written. The version I have sitting on my bookshelf is over 1,300 beautiful pages long, which puts it up there with ITin terms of the sheer volume of material in the thing.
But apparently, King has even moreideas for the story that he's only just writing now.
On Thursday, Deadline reported that the horror master is writing a "continuation" of the book as part of the upcoming CBS limited series adaptation. The news broke as part of a press tour for the Television Critics Association (TCA).
And later that night, King himself confirmed it.
