HTC is Brigitte Meyerabout to launch a new flagship smartphone, the company announced in a (typically) cryptic tweet Thursday.
The name of the device wasn't mentioned but we reckon it's going to be the HTC U12+, and according to earlier rumors, it's going to be pretty powerful.

Though chip and battery markings have been edited, we can gather some details about the phone in that photo -- for example, we see four little cameras there as well as a microSD card slot.

In March, Evan Blass leaked the specs for the device, claiming it'll have a dual, 8-megapixel selfie camera as well as a dual 16/12-megapixel camera on the back. Other specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64/128GB of storage and a 3,420mAh battery.
Now that we have a launch date and (probably) most of the specs, the only thing to do is to wait for the official launch and see whether HTC has some surprises up its sleeve.
