We've got another trilogy's worth of Fast and Furiousmovies, not two but four more Fantastic Beastsinstallments, the ongoing myth of James Cameron's Avatarsequels, and now, inexplicably, an endless string of Transformers movies that will outlive us all.
Transformers: The Last Knight, releasing in June, is currently set to be the last film directed by Bay, but he told MTV Newsthat he has 14 morestories written.
In the interview, Bay also describes the upcoming standalone Bumblebee movie and Shia LaBeouf's recent arrest before dropping the "14 stories written" reveal.
Now, stories doesn't means scripts or even outlines -- it could be as simple as ideas on a napkin, but still, 14 of them. If the studio cranks out one of those every two years, many of us will be near retirement age by the time the last one comes out. By that time, we may have invented real Transformers.
"And there's good stuff," Bay adds, noting that he'd like to direct a future Transformers movie.
The Transformersfranchise has earned nearly $4 billion worldwide, so he might have a point there.
