The Mike Horner ArchivesDuck of Justice might need some more protection after it's been found with the infamous red balloon from Stephen King's movie It. Especially since its so close to the writer's home.
The Bangor Maine Police Department posted a funny Facebook message Thursday, explaining the incident.
SEE ALSO: Red floating 'It' balloons are appearing near drains and we're fine, you're fine, everyone's fineAlthough it's unsure how the red balloon got inside the Bangor Police museum, (not creepy at all), sergeant Tim Cotton took it upon himself to get right to the source behind 'it.' And that source was King himself.
No. Big. Deal.
Stephen King had the privilege of meeting the Duck of Justice, even grabbing a photo with the famous mascot.
It's still unknown how the balloon got there, but Cotton ends the post with "Keep your hands to yourself (especially near the sewer grates), leave other people's things alone, and be kind to one another."
And yes if you're wondering, the Duck of Justice is safe and sound. It may even have a bigger ego now from meeting Mr. King.
