ICYMI,English sex movies Mark Zuckerberg went to Harvard.
The 33-year-old billionaire famously didn't graduate, but he did spend many days sitting at a desk in an old Harvard dorm room. It's there in H-33 in Kirkland House that he coded thefacebook.com.
SEE ALSO: Mark Zuckerberg's dad filmed his son's reaction to getting into HarvardZuckerberg on Tuesday graciously gifted the world with a tour inside that very room, sitting in that very chair, at that very desk (we assume), and streaming with Facebook Live. According to Zuckerberg, this was his first time being back since living there (Disclosure: I lived in H-32 my senior year of college and can confirm that he was inside that very dorm room).
Zuckerberg's in town because he's finally receiving that degree (an honorary degree) by giving the Commencement speech to be delivered Thursday. It was awkward, to say the least. But it's Zuckerberg, a man who eats dry toast, so that's to be expected.
Zuckerberg tried to share as many stories as he could, along with his wife Priscilla Chan. But they spent more time saying that they should do that and trying to come up with appropriate ones and expressing that need rather than actually sharing them.
Chan reminded audience — the stream was up to nearly 100,000 live viewers — that she was 18 at the time he lived at that dorm, and Zuckerberg was 19.
There were guest appearances by current Harvard students, many of whom were economics majors, one of whom was even a former intern at Facebook. Zuckerberg denied there being a Facebook intern in every Harvard dorm room, but he suggested that the room may have "good karma."
We learned that he had a stereotypical "horrible" roommate — actually he lived across the dorm — who would come in and steal Zuckerberg's Hot Pockets. We also learned Chan and him would typically take shifts sleeping on the twin-sized bed in his dorm. As in Zuckerberg for the most part was up coding at 5 a.m. and slept during the day.
Zuckerberg didn't want to share too many more memories since he has a speech to give to the Class of 2017, he said. But we did hear that the billionaire was almost kicked out of school for creating a site called FaceMash.
The best part was probably the end when Zuckerberg congratulated Harvard for being a place that is not so tied to the past.
There he sounded a little less awkward and a little more CEO-like.
"If there's one thing about Harvard, they're really confident about getting rid of old relics because they know they're going to make new history," he said.
And even though he didn't graduate, he's mighty happy of his old home. "This was a place where many special things happened in my life, and I'm really thankful," Zuckerberg said.
